| Kit Lists |
Below is a basic kit list for all camps, and then a few additions for various other types of events.
Scouts should print off a list and tick items as THEY pack them. With time everyone develops their own
individual kit list, so Scouts may like to copy the list below into their own document and add to it as and when -
that way they will have a kit list ready to print each time an event comes up.

Standard Kit List for Camps:
O sleeping bag
O Sleeping bag liner (optional for extra warmth)
O roll mat or Thermarest
O Blanket (optional for extra warmth)
O Scout shirt
O scarf and woggle (if invested)
O activity trousers (NOT JEANS) x 2
O warm jumper/fleece x 2
O T shirt etc x 2/3
O Underwear
O Nightclothes (either pyjamas or something like T shirt and tracksuit
bottoms)
O Thick socks
O Hat (beanie / sun hat)
O Gloves
O Walking boots or wellies - it is essential to have one of these.
O Waterproof coat
O Waterproof trousers
O Sun cream
O Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, flannel and towel) - There are often
showers on site!
O Torch (and spare batteries)
O Plastic plate, bowl and mug (all named)
O Cutlery (knife, fork, spoon)
O Tea towel
O Water bottle
O Small personal first aid kit - this just needs to be some plasters, antiseptic
wipes etc.
O Optional small activity (e.g.pack of cards, book, notepad and pencil, frisbee,
ball)
O Plastic bags to put wet/dirty items in.
No electronic games / Ipods etc please
