Members from any section can gain the Hikes Away Staged Activity Badges, and they are transferred from section to
section. The length that the journey has to be to count as a Hike Away varies according to the section.
Badges are awarded for 1, 5, 10, 20, 35 and 50 Hikes Away.
It is also possible to count journeys on bikes, horses or in canoes, though the distances are expected to be longer!
